Netball Waitākere West Auckland Secondary School Competition's (WASSC)


Netball Waitakere WASSC competition is split into two different areas of competition and has a set of WASSC regulations that help to ensure maximum participation of secondary school students  - 

  • WASSC Premier and Seniors - Year 11, Year 12 & Year 13 (Including Men's Y9-Y13)
  • WASSC Year 9 & Year 10 

WASSC Premier, Senior & Men's competition is run on a Tuesday afternoon/evening with the first game starting at 5:00 pm and on the hour thereafter indoor and outdoor.

WASSC Year 9 & Year 10 competition is run on a Saturday morning.

All games are 40 minutes long - 4 x 10 minute quarters with breaks in between.

Netball Waitakere Men's Secondary Schools Competition

Netball Waitākere are excited to continue our Secondary Schools Men’s Netball Competition this season. This is for all male players, Year 9 – Year 13. 

Teams can be made up of a mix of age ranges from Year 9 - Year 13.

This League  runs alongside our West Auckland Secondary Schools (WASSC) Senior Netball Competition on Tuesday evenings at Netball Waitākere.

Any secondary school from Tāmaki Makaurau who want to participate are welcome to enter!

Special Discounted Price Entry Fee for Men's Secondary School Teams = $466.95

Entries are now open through sporty, the first step is getting your school on our schools/clubs list under the ‘our people’ tab, if you are not already. This is done by Sporty as they will create your own registration form for each school, which is the form you will use to register your players, coaches and managers. If you are entering a team into our Men’s competition for the first time, please contact our Games Administrator, Sasha, so she can contact Sporty to create your registration link. Sasha can be reached at games@netballwaitakere.co.nz
