Next-Gen Netball Programme:

This programme has been created and targeted at our next generation of netball players and future representative level players. Focused in our year 7 & year 8 age groups, this programme aims to futher develop the skills and knowledge of these athletes.

The focus of this programme is to:

• Increase the skill set and understanding of the game.
• Improve knowledge across a range of technical and tactical components to further develoment across all positions. 
• Work with coaches who have significant experience in the intermediate grades
• Using the skills learnt in training and use them in practice at the festival days.
• Help prepare athletes who are wanting to progress into our representative programme, once eligible from Year 9 onwards..

Where: Netball Waitākere, indoor courts

When: Friday afternoons, from 4.30pm to 6pm

Dates: Friday 9th May to Friday 13th June

Festival Dates: 

- Sunday 1st June @ Howick/Pakuranga  

- Sunday 15th June @ Netball North Harbour

- Sunday 22nd June @ Netball Waitakere*
