Netball Waitākere Annual General Meeting 2023

Notice is hereby given that the Annual General Meeting of Netball Waitākere Incorporated will be held on Tuesday 12th March 2024 at 6.30pm upstairs in the Kowhai Room at Netball Waitākere, 31 -35 Te Pai Place, Henderson, Auckland.

1. Board Member Election and Appointments 

There are currently three elected positions available on the Board of Netball Waitākere.  

Positions will become available if any Board members resign at the upcoming AGM. The appointed positions on the Board will be appointed by the Board Appointments Panel and the Elected positions on the Board will be filled by an election at the Annual General Meeting.  

Applications for both elected and appointed members must be received no later than fourteen (14) days before the AGM.  

An applicant for an Appointed Board member may also be a nominee for an Elected Board member, providing that if such a nominee is elected to the Board at the AGM their application as an Appointed Board Member shall automatically be withdrawn. Nominations for the positions available on the Board of Netball Waitākere  are to be completed on the appropriate form and submitted to Netball Waitākere, with supporting documentation no later than 5pm on Monday 26th February 2024. 


2. Alterations to the Constitution and Regulations 

Submissions to alter the Netball Waitākere Inc. Constitution or Regulations are to be completed on the appropriate form and submitted to Netball Waitākere no later than 5pm on Monday 26th February 2024. Copies of the Constitution and Regulations may be requested from the Netball Waitākere Office or downloaded from the website. 


3. Submission of Agenda Item for General Business 

In an effort to ensure an effective meeting with quality discussion please submit requests for agenda items to be covered in General Business on the official form no later than 5pm on Monday 26th February 2024. 


4. Sub-Committee Members Election and Appointment 

The Netball Waitākere Game Management, Representative, and Umpires Sub-Committee elected positions are for the Convenor and one member of each sub-committee.  Other members will be appointed by the Board from those nominated for the elected positions.  Nominations must be submitted on the official form and received no later than 5pm on Monday 26th February 2024.
